it depends on what you want really... you can look at and comment on various peoples artworks (by clicking the 'Browse' link at the top of the page)

you can chat to other users of dA (with the Chat link at the top)

you can read and post in the forum (i think you can work that out)

you can upload your own pictures (we call 'em deviations). - click on the little deviantart logo ( ) and then click submit deviation from the menu.

You can keep a blog/journal - from the ~iantart menu - select update journal

and many other things that im too lazy to type about (sorry...)
